Hi, I'm Josy 👋

Earlier this year (2025), I started learning Thai. To remember vocabulary, I was searching for a simple-to-use flashcard app, but everything I found was difficult to use, clunky, or didn’t have the features I needed.

So I decided to build my own tool with the features I needed: handwriting support (helpful for practicing scripts like Thai or Chinese and phonetic spelling), audio output (especially useful for tonal languages), and spaced repetition with front-to-back and back-to-front study modes, cross-device support so I could study seamlessly on both my laptop and phone, allowing me to review flashcards anytime, anywhere.

I figured if I was struggling to find the right tool, other language learners might be too. That’s why I built Mora: a clean, intuitive flashcard app designed for people learning languages of all kinds.
